Happy Birthday, Bridger!! I can't believe he's already 3 years old! Time goes soooooo quickly--it seems like just yesterday that he was a sleeping baby in my arms. However, that stage only lasted a couple months...Bridger has always been a mover--he was rolling around the house at 2 1/2 months and was crawling all over by 5. I haven't been able to keep him still yet. I am amazed at his vast knowledge of all kinds of construction trucks and rescue vehicles. He is constantly correcting me for calling a 'backhoe' a 'trackhoe'...He has a very wild imagination and loves to play pretend--when I asked him what he was talking about the other day he said: "oh, nevermind mom. I'm not talking to you." Hmmm, then who, I wonder???? :)He is becoming very computer savvy declaring last week: "just a minute, mom--I have to check my email. I think my friend Emma was going to send me an email...(click click click) oh, here we go!" What a crazy!
I love how time after time he will say: "I am so sorry mom, I didn't mean to--I'll never do it again" ---only to do it again. I also love his morning routine of asking "What are we going to do today, mom?" and then "what are we going to do after that?"--over and over and over again until we have discussed his plans for college...
I love how much he loves chocolate (he totally gets that from me!) I love his love of reading--he will read the entire Friend in one sitting and then want more! He has every nursery rhyme and every story book in his room memorized and whenever I read to him I leave blanks in all of the sentences and he fills them in for me--whether I think he's paying attention or not!
I love how he is such a sponge. He remembers EVERYTHING I tell him. Once I told him he couldn't have any juice because I was saving it for a rainy day--then a month later, on a rainy day, he reminded me of this and got the juice!
I love getting hugs and kisses from him (they're rare but sweet) and I really love watching him love his sister. He calls her "sveetheart" and loves to rub his belly on her (it sounds weird, I know--but she is so soft!)
I love his big brown eyes and how he always tells me the truth--even if it gets him into trouble. Yesterday morning he woke us up by asking Jer if he had found his ring yet. Ummm, why Bridger? Bridger said: "I'm sorry dad, I lost your ring and I don't know where it is. I'll never do it again. Can I have breakfast?" He loves playing with his dad's "stuff"...we found the ring, by the way, it was under the bed...
He is my little (big) Bridger, he loves to fly airplanes and fix 'stuff' with his dad and loves to help me sew and make cookies. He is destined for great things, hopefully I can keep up!

I love it! You are such a wonderful mom.
So fun... I am so glad that Tommy has Bridger as a friend. Bridger is so sweet and so smart! I LOVE that he remembered the juice on a rainy day, what a memory!
I remember when you were pregnant with Bridger....and it seems like YESTERDAY!!! What a sweetheart. He has such a good Mommy to teach him such great things. I love seeing his little face peeking at me through the window on my dinner days!
What a cute little boy! Hope he has a fun day!
My name is also Bridger Nielson. I was always shocked to meet another Bridger, but having the exact name is pretty funny. I was born in 1977 in Park City, grew up in Salt Lake and and now live in Los Angeles.
Anyway, good choice of names.
-Bridger
