We love UPS

So, it has been pretty boring around here lately--you would think that I would be busy packing--but no, not yet--I'm delaying that until the last possible minute. Instead I have been doing some online clearance shopping (with free shipping--it's the only way).

I have discovered a new store--The Land of Nod--it is the best thing ever! And the icing on the cake is their outlet/80% off section. Yes, I had myself a hay day.

I found new lampshades on sale for $4 (yippee!)--they are so cute and I was so excited, so I hurried and snatched those up (before they ran out--that has happened before and it was devestating...) And why do they wrap lampshades in cellophane?? That stuff is such a pain to get off!
I also got that cute paper doll picture for Kennedy's room. Love it!!!!

Here she is modeling her new lampshade. But in my haste to buy something on clearance, I failed to notice if the lampshade would actually fit on my lamp bases. Does that make sense? Some lampshades screw on top and some fit on underneath the lightbulb. Well, unfortunatley I bought the wrong kind of lampshade....they are just resting on the bulb--hopefully that's no fire hazard. Any suggestions?? Is there an attachment I can buy to fix it?

Kennedy followed me to each room and plopped herself down on each rocking chair for a picture. She's learning how to pose for a picture too! And you're all probably thinking that these pictures were taken in the morning--since she's in her pj's. Well, they weren't. They were taken at about 4:30 this afternoon--we were all in our pj's. It was just one of those days. Thank goodness the UPS man came--he was our only contact with the outside world today...actually, I never did see him, he just rang the doorbell and ran back to his truck. Oh, well.

Very pretty!!! Glad you got such a good deal.....where was Bridger while Kennedy was posing? I'm glad she was dressed up in her jewelry.

Love the Pj days. More things get done around the house on those days then any other.

I've done that with the lamps many time. I can't remember how to fix it. Maybe there isn't a way.

We are looking at a darlin house straight across the street 104th, from you new house. We could walk across the street. I can't get the guy to return my call.

I LOVE the Land of Nod. It's seriously one of my favorite kid stores because everything we've gotten from there has been so well made.
