He got to wear the 'masters hood' and it was all very exciting :)

Jeremy with his parents, Shauna and Alan. They sat with me through both ceremonies. The first started at 9:00 but in order to be there in time for the line up, we were up by 5:30 that morning and out the door by 7 (that used to be plenty of time, but now with 3 kids and a hungry newborn, we need a lot of extra minutes...)
The kids were pretty good during all of those long hours, but there was one point where Bridger had a complete meltdown over fruitsnacks, and when Kennedy was hanging so far over the rail I thought she was going to fall and give me a heart attack. Charlotte only needed to be fed once, so I took her up to the nose bleed section--where no one was. And then the rest of the time I spent taking the kids to the bathroom....over and over and over again. Why they needed to go so much, I'll never know. I heard that Ambassador Huntsman gave a great speech :)

After the general commencement, we went to eat at the Red Iguana--one of our very favorites! And they didn't disappoint. Then we took a couple hours break until it was time for Jeremy's department graduation. Kennedy wondered why everyone was wearing books on their heads... and Jeremy has convinced the kids to call him Master. :)
You did a great job, Jer (as usual)! We are so proud of you! Thanks for all you do for our family. I'm glad we can share the same title now (hee hee) :)

p.s. on our way to the car, Kennedy was wearing Jer's graduation cap with the biggest grin on her face. I asked her what she was thinking about and she said: "Everybody will say--'Kennedy! Did you just graduate?' and I'll say 'no!'" (giggle giggle) She was having a proud moment.

We LOVE Red Iguana too! It's somewhat comforting to know someone is enjoying their yummy food while we're so far away . . .
Congrats Jeremy! That is such an awesome accomplishment. I love hearing about this day from the mom perspective of graduation... all the bathroom breaks, feedings, meltdowns, etc. You are a great story tell Lindsey :), and a real trooper!
