Wedding!

Well, I finally have pics from my sisters wedding a couple of weeks ago. She got married in the Salt Lake Temple and it was so lovely. Of course, with a wedding or any major event things are bound to go wrong. Firstly, for some unknown reason--my mother let my little 15-yr old brother take all the pictures (love ya Sean!!) out of a hundred or so, these are by far the best...sad, isn't it. Luckily, there was a real photographer there, so hopefully we will see some better pictures later.

As you can see, I have tried not to post very many pictures of myself--I had my hair done that morning and the hairstylist proceeded to give me a mullett-like updo and then charged me $50--I was so steamed!!!! It also took way longer than necessary and therefore I got home with only 45 minutes to get the whole family ready and to alter my dress (which was too loose on top)--I was putting my makeup on in the car and had to fix the neckline of Kennedy's dress which had ripped open--so not a great way to start off the day!

On our way to the sealing, Sean (again, love ya...) was supposed to meet us in the waiting room to look after our kids. We got there 30 minutes early and ended up looking for him for 28 minutes--we were so stressed! Jeremy almost didn't make it to the wedding cause he thought he was going to have to babysit! Luckily, with about a minute and a half to spare we found Sean and all was well (even though I was entering the temple with thoughts of murder running through my head---the sisterly love kind of murder...does that make sense???)

Shortly before Rebecca and Dave came out, my mom came outside...without any shoes on. Where were her shoes? Apparently somebody took them or moved them. My mom took all of our family pictures barefoot and then went back in to find her shoes---2 HOURS LATER---she found them and now there was only about an hour left to get to the reception. However, she and my dad still needed to pick up flowers---fighting traffic and construction they make it to the florist. The florist couldn't find the flowers anywhere--after much time and effort they were finally located. Fighting traffic and construction yet again, they make it to the reception about 30 minutes late. All is well after that--well,except for the fact that I never got to dance with Jeremy because he had to take our kids home (kids who were overly exhausted, excited and desperately wanted to squish their little fingers into the wedding cake...)
It was a beautiful wedding and reception and Rebecca and Dave are just right for eachother--they make the cutest couple!

Some pics below are of me and my mom and sisters after a pedicure (very fun!! we went to a spa--my first time--and were really pampered), my dad and Sean and Vanessa dancing--very funny, and an example of why Jeremy left so early with Kennedy (and Bridger) :)
