My back hurts!!!

I have been crafting up a storm lately!  It's been fun though--but my craft room is a small disaster area...  and my back does hurt!  oh, well.  I was invited to make some fun things for a Christmas boutique tomorrow.  It's from 10-3:00 and it's in Riverton (1071 W. River Pine Circle (12100 South)).  Everyone should come!!  Not just for the shopping aspect--just because I would love to see you :)

I'm making these cute crayon rolls--this is just a picture of one style--honestly, I haven't finished sewing the others yet--but there is the cutest cowboy one!

And these hair posey's I love!  I made them out of upholstery fabric, so they're really thick and they look really cute pinned in your hair, or on a scarf or hat.

And last but not least, I have made some scarves--in green, brown, and grey.  Here's a few other links with samples of what will be there tomorrow (advent calendars and lots more).

In other news, my friend Francis (Brock Spann) has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.  So, all of the proceeds from my sales (at the boutique) will go to help cover her massive medical expenses. This girl has an amazing blog--I just love reading her journal entries!  Doctor's are 95% sure it's not cancerous, but she still needs brain surgery--which will happen in the next couple of weeks.  Please keep them in your prayers!  She has such a beautiful family!!  And check out her blog (and leave a comment--she would love that!)  I've known Francis since I was 10 years old--she was a few years older, so me and her sister, Lois would play with her barbies.  I think one time we embarrassed the life out of her by asking where all of her barbie clothes were when she had a boy over....sorry about that!

Hey Lindsay,
I would love to come to the boutique but won't be able to for obvious reasons. Can I buy a few of the hair posey's from you? They are adorable!! And what a great way to help Francis. I went to her blog and read a few of her entries. It hits close to home as my brother Dave went through the same thing, his was cancer but it's gone now. He is dealing with the effects from the radiation. You are inspiring Lindsay.

Sheesh....It makes me so sad to see your sewing maching out making all these cute things and know that mine is somewhere in a box with no hopes of ever seeing the light of day. I think you should do a traveling boutique and come to my house..Your stuff looks gorgeous and I would LOVE some of those poseys, but I will be busy with a basketball game tomorrow! Keep some cute ones for me and I hope you make lots and lots of money for your friend! :)

Lindsay, uhhh I want to know how you made some of these things. I love them all. I think I need to buy a few crayon rolls. And you know I need a cowboy one for owen. You are so sweet for doing this for my sister. You have a special place in my heart and I know in all of my families, you are like another sister. Thank you lindsay for being so generous, I know taking time from your family to do this is no small task.
I love you! Farris

Lindsay, you are seriously amazing! If I lived in Utah I totally would have stopped by. I've been meaning to make one of those crayon rolls. Maybe when I'm in town for Thanksgiving next week we should meet up for a little fabric shopping (if you have time)? I'll send you an e-mail.
