I am proud to say that Bridger is an official skier now! Jer has been teaching him--he's been four times in the past couple of months and he really loves it! This kid has no fear on a snow covered mountain. Show him the Easter Bunny or take him on a ride at the State Fair and he freaks out a little, but he has no problem on ski's. Weird!
His first time skiing he went with some friends and he had a blast! So much fun that it made for a good nap on the ride home :)
I thought Bridger would be nervous on the chair lift as well--but I was wrong. Apparently while on the ride he kept cracking jokes about jumping off and landing on unsuspecting victims...that made Jeremy a little nervous!
Here is Bridger doing pizza (slowing down) with his edgie wedgies (I have no idea how to spell that, but it's the little tie that keeps the tips of your ski's together--he was just a little fascinated with them for some reason...)
And here he is doing french fries (what makes him go really really fast!) Now that he's comfortable with the basics--he has started to make up his own tricks. There's the hot dog (funny how he kept with the fast food theme...) where he ski's on one leg down the hill. And yes, he's pretty good! Although he does admit to crashing....a lot....but he likes to crash, so I guess it's okay. He especially likes it when he crashes, does a somersault and his ski's fly off....
Here he is with Connor and Tate--they are so cute!
Our next job is to get this little guy a helmet--especially now that we know he loves to crash so much! But for now he looks so cute in his moose hat! People skiing past him would call him "moose tracks"--and he loved that.
**Since these pictures, Jeremy has accidentally taken Bridger down an intermediate mogul hill--Bridger said it was too bumpy, but he still made it to the bottom. Also, he managed to leave Jeremy in the dust one time--skiing down the mountain all by himself--Jeremy couldn't catch up to him until they reached the bottom! And finally, Bridger is working on a new (made-up) trick: the doughnut. It's where he spins in circles while skiing--he hasn't quite mastered this one yet--but I wouldn't be surprised if he does!
