In a galaxy far far away....

It was Bridger's 5th Birthday party on Saturday--his first one with friends--and he was soooo excited!  I don't know what started his fascination with Star Wars, but that's what he requested.  Look at this pose, he calls it his "Master Yoda" face...

Here he is with Queen Amadala.  I had no idea how to dress her up like that--so I gave her 7 ponytails with 7 ribbons and she was pretty happy about that.

Master Jedi Nielson and his young padawan, Bridger.  Jeremy trained all the younglings to become jedi's.  He was the best one for the job too, the kids loved it!

Sweet Charlotte was so good during the party.  And luckily, Jeremy's parents were able to come and help out, because a little baby is a full time job :)

Here's all the kids minus two who came later--they were all so cute in their costumes!  I thought it was funny that none of the girls (except Kennedy) dressed up.  I'm sure if it were a princess party, things would be different!

Bridger requested rainbow cupcakes for his cake.  Well, really he didn't ask for them, I recommended them, but he was happy nonetheless.  I was just excited to try them out :)

And I'm on a water-bottle-label-making kick right now.  But the kids had fun picking out their water bottles!

I also made lightsabers, or chocolate covered pretzels with foil handles.  So cute, I thought!  Of course, I can't take credit for these ideas, I pride myself on my copying skills.

Master Jedi was reading a letter from Yoda and then teaching the kids how to be jedi's.  This involved lots of running, jumping, somersaulting, and going down the zip-line

Okay, doesn't Charlotte look a little like the Emperor in this picture???  But she is far from an evil genious.  She's perfect--just doesn't like the sun!

Okay!  Better now!  Isn't she cute in her little tutu??

I seriously loved these cupcakes!  We also had Yoda Soda's (lime sherbet and sprite).  Green is Bridger's favorite color, so he was pleased!

And aren't these favor bags the cutest?  My friend Lois cut these out on her Cricut for me--they turned out sooo awesome!

And last but not least, we let the kids loose on a darth vader pinata with their light sabers.  It was fun, Bridger has the cutest friends!  I still remember my Barbie birthday party when i turned 5, hopefully Bridger will do the same:)  Although i do have to say, these parties are so exhausting!  Jeremy and I needed a long nap after everyone went home!

You throw one heck of a party! Gage is convinced that he has the force now, but can't figure out why it won't work on our garage door, when it worked on Bridgers! Thanks, the boys had a blast.

Oh what fun, I felt like I was there! I still have the smile on my face as you can well imagine:) The first picture of Bridger in his Jedi pose is so cute, he looks so much like Jeremy there. Maybe it's the eyes? Kennedy is so sweet in her costume and the food turned out great! I would love to try the cupcake recipe. Do you think teenagers would like them??????
What a great party, you both did a great job and Jeremy does look and act like a master Jedi trainer. Where were the pictures of you? Also, Charlotte melted my heart.....she really does look like Charlotte!

We had that same "pin the explosion on the ship" game for my son's star wars party. But you totally surpassed me with everything else- from the invitations to the jedi training. (And the cupcakes! So fun!)

What a super party! You are such a good mom! You went to a lot of work . . . it's a good thing you got lots of pics so the kids can see just how much work you did (when they grow up). =) The cupcakes look delicious!
