Kennedy is always asking me who her friends are....and I always don't know what to say! She has a couple of little friends, but mostly they're Bridger's friends or her cousins...or aunts and uncles...or grandparents for that matter! So, I decided to help her make some friends. We hosted a Princess Tea Party and invited 3 of the cutest girls from our neighborhood. Kennedy was soooo excited! And, I--who loves a good party--was pretty excited too. I mean, it's fun to have a boy party, but it's FUN to have a girl party! Does anybody know what I mean by this???

We decorated using our most fancy dishes and tablecloth (this is the biggest difference between boys and girls--table manners!) and we made some pretty delicious treats too :)

Of course, no party is complete without a thank you gift. Kennedy and I (well, really just me) made these little paper purses. We filled them with a pink pencil, a tube of pink glitter glue, 2 hair clips, and a princess crown. The girls were in heaven!!!

Bridger was our server and he did a great job. He didn't want to much to do with all this girly stuff--at least that's what he kept telling me....I think he secretly wanted to do everything they were doing!

If you don't believe me--take a look at these pictures. I was just trying to get the girls, but he kept sneaking in.... I just love the look on little Sophie's face!

Camera hog!

The party ended and I asked him if he wanted a princess wand to eat. His response: "WHAT? NO! WHY WOULD I WANT ONE OF THOSE?!? THEY"RE FOR GIRLS!" I said--are you sure? "well, okay. I guess I'll have one." Who is he kidding??? He was dying for one! The whole day he was drooling over them!

Now Kennedy has many neighborhood friends, but this is her best friend of all. He's her "prince".

Oh, and thank you to mom--who helped with Charlotte (who was hungry!) the whole time!

We were one girl short at the party--her mom was at the hospital having a BABY--so they forgot all about the party until after it was over :) Ummm....totally understandable :) Do you see her armbands? Crazy--I know :) But we were so glad August stopped by!
These girls were all so adorable!! And well behaved-I couldn't believe it! They did everything I asked! It was awesome! I see more of these play dates in our future...

L-O-V-E, LOVE every bit of it.
When the heck was this adorable party? I never heard anything about it. You did such a great job! I don't blame Bridger for wanting one of those star cookies, they look so yummy! What are those cupcake things on the back of the chairs? Very cute but I can't figure out what they are. So glad Miss Kennedy has some friends!
So cute! I had a tea party with my oldest girl and her friends once but it was one tenth the fabulousness of your party. You are AMAZING!
No. no I don't know what you mean.
(That's the cutest little party ever!)
I'm jealous! You are the most fun mom!
You are officially the most fun mom EVER! Maybe if I hang out with you enough some of your funness (is the even a word?) will rub off on me! :)
Can you adopt my kids...they deserve a mom like you :)

Wow... sooo cute!! You are the best mom ever. What a cute idea. It was decorated so beautifully. Really, you are the best. Will you be my mom? Oh wait... you already host awesome book groups for us, I guess you don't have to be my mom. By the way you are an awesome friend! Thanks for a great book group last week :)
SOOOOOO fun Linds!! Did you sew the cupcake placemats things? You are one of the most creative fun people I know! Every part looks like it was perfect!

That was a great party and a wonderful memory for me.....too bad I can't look after the kids more often for you, and especially for me.
