Welcome Home!

My brother Addison came home from his mission a couple of weeks ago--he served in the Johannesburg, South Africa mission (hopefully I'll get a personal tour someday...). My mom has been so giddy and excited--the yellow ribbon was stacked on the counter for weeks!

Of course, Addison just had to fly home in a snow storm, so his flight was delayed a couple of hours--my kids almost hit the roof by the time he was here, but they crashed in the car on the 3.5 hour drive home (!!!!), so I was thankful for that!

I love this picture--look at my mom's face--we were all looking for long legs coming down the escalator (my brother is 6'6")--and I think she was spotting them!

Bridger was sure excited to see him--he was only 18 months old when Addison left, but he remembered a lot about him--especially that he used to drive a big red truck! And Kennedy? Well, she usually never wants anyone to hold her (especially males)--but she practically jumped into his arms--and she always giggles when she sees him!

My mom had planned this picture for weeks too...I think it came to her in a vision... :) This is a photo of all of the new family members since Addison left--my sister-in-law Kimallee, Bro-in-law, Dave and of course, Kennedy!

And here is my whole family--together for the last time for 6 months(well, there are perks to them moving to Florida--summer trips to the beach!!) This was after his "homecoming" talk at church--everyone did a great job speaking and it's always fun to listen to Addison tell stories of S.A (he has quite an accent!)--I guess he ate a lot of chicken feet down there--oh, and saw a lot of animals! And I do know that Addison is going back to S.A in a couple of weeks. Why you might ask??? I think it has to do with a certain girl named Mabulane :) (Hey, he wanted someone to spread the word!)

And I just had to post a few pics of Kennedy in the new dress that my mom just made her--I think she looks so cute in it! It's a little pinafore dress--she looks like a little baby from a hundred years ago!

And this is my Grammy--she had such a horrible trip down here (multiple cancelled flights--lost luggage for 7 days, overnight in airports, no food, etc.) I felt so bad for her!!! And honestly, I'm not sure when the next time I"ll see her again (with my parents moving...) oh well, guess I'll just have to go back to Prince Edward Island... :)
