A biking we will go....

So, here's how our May-July goes: Bridger's b-day, mother's day, anniversary, my b-day, father's day, jer's b-day, kennedy's b-day, cat's b-day. Okay, that last one really doesn't count--we didn't get the cat a bike and he's probably thankful for that. This is our family gift to each other (although I still think we should take Mother's day out of the mix...) I haven't really ridden (is that a word???) a bike or owned one since I was 12--I had a purple bike with streamers. We would play COPS, go on long rides, chase down the ice cream truck--you name it. Eventually the streamers all got pulled out (thanks to little siblings) and then to top it off, my two brothers decided to take the whole thing apart. Yes, my bike was murdered by a 7 and 9 year old.
Anyway, haven't thought too much about it in recent years, but Jeremy (who loves to ride) came up with the brilliant idea of us all getting bikes. And I have to admit, it has been a blast. I think we rode over 30 miles this weekend and we are still wanting more!

Kennedy got this little trailor--Bridger fits in it too for those long rides where his training wheels and little legs get too tired to go. She love it--there's a cup holder and she gets to wear all of her necklaces--what more could you ask for??

We had a bike for Bridger--but he has yet to ride it. Apparently it is way too big, I guess we'll just save it for when he grows out of this one. He loves his new yellow bike--he loves that it can go in the dirt, but it's not supposed to go down hills--at least that's what he says (he has a small fear of the uncontrollable...)

Cute little faces in their little helmets! They both giggle when we go over bumps, but after we got home Bridger said that he would like some padding for next time :)

Our caravan

I know, that helmet is really attractive. You don't have to tell me.

Kennedy inherited Bridger's extra small bike--she loves it! She is so happy to have a little independence. She can't quite pedal yet, but there's a handle on back so we can just push her as we go. She'll get the hang of it soon enough. I just have to laugh at all of her "bling"--she doesn't leave home without it!

Gotta love that tounge--it always sticks out when she's concentrating.

And here's my bike--it makes me happy. There's even a little unintentional smiley face on the back!

How cute is that??? Just looking at it makes me want to put on some flip flops and eat a popsicle. It's so summer-y! No, it's not meant for the mountains, but I don't know if I'm really brave enough for that anyway. I'm more of a parade-route kind of rider.....
Have I mentioned that I have a little basket to go in front? Now I just need a bell....

I LOVE your bike! I really do think I need a popscicle now! Good to know that bridger bike was to big so that we are careful when buying tommys for his birthday!
The best is your helmet though... You are soooo sexy! =)

I've been wanting a beach cruiser for a while (is that what your bike is called?) It is sooo cute! What a good idea to get everyone bikes! We need to just get ours down from the hooks that they've been on in our garage for the last 5 years... ;)

That sure looked like a lot of fun! Bridger's bike is really cute, just like him. I know you will have so much fun riding around in the spring and summer and fall. I am totally jealous. Your bike is gorgeous. Just like my favorite movie "Return to Me." I would love a bike but we don't have a garage, and no one to go on rides with. Send more pictures soon.

That bike is totally you!!! Ryan wants to get me one of those beach cruiser bikes, I'm in need of a new bike. Right now I have a boys mountain bike..I liked it because it looked cool and tough, but everytime I get off of it, it kicks me in the crotch..apparently there are girl and boy bikes for a reason!!

I love your bike, it reminds me of my old girls bike, but mine was blue. So fun to have something to do as a family. I especially love kennedy's necklaces.

So much fun Lindsay! I love your bike! I wish that I hadn't gotten a new bike last year . . . I see your style of bike everywhere and they are so cute! Maybe one day when my other goes out. Enjoy your family rides this Spring and Summer. :)

What fun times!! I just got a bike for christmas, and I have not ridden since I was about 12 also. I love it, but I haven't got to use it much. We need to get one of the trailers also for Dawson. Then we need to get Dave a bike. I love your cute bike. Kennedy is so cute in all of her bling!! Yay....I am so glad Spring is here! (Or so it seems...maybe Mother Nature is tricking us again :()
