Easter Sunday

I love how not matter how gloomy the weather is before or after Easter, Easter Sunday is always glorious. We had a wonderful day together as a family and our kids looked so cute in their new easter clothes from Grammy and Grandpa. My mom hand smocked this dress for Kennedy--even the little armbands (which came out kind of blurry...) She looked adorable. She got new squeaky shoes too--which she loves--she loves to dance to her own music, but we decided to leave them off for church--these new squeakers are pretty loud!
Kennedy calls herself a princess when she wears a new dress. She loves this dress and cried when I took it off her after church. I had to replace it with another dress--one that could get dirty :)
I love this picture! Bridger is making a face as if he is kissing a frog, but it's still cute. What you don't see: Mom bribing with candy, Kennedy screaming for Bridger to stop "Stop, Bridgee, don't!" and Bridger trying to get the job done as fast as he can.
And for this picture, I told them there was a bug on my nose, so they both looked up at the same time. But I think it turned out pretty cute.
I am so thankful for such a beautiful Easter Sunday yesterday. As we tried to tell the story of the ressurection to Bridger and Kennedy, Bridger just shook his head and said: "I already know this stuff, Dad." But as we told him anyway...he listened in amazement. The story really kept his attention-as it should. I hope my kids know of Jesus' love for them--so much that he died for them. It is wonderful.

Wow...your mom is so talented. Your kids look so cute. I love getting my kids dressed for Easter Sunday. I still make Daxton, but I just buy him a new tie to match the other kids. I am glad he will go along with that still. I love how you describe how you get you kids to do things. That makes your pictures all the better. It is to funny. Bridger's face is so dang funny. I love Bridger!
