A couple of weeks ago, we had the kids all bundled up in the car and ready to go visit a live nativity. We drove all the way down there....just to find out that it was PACKED with people! It was a two hour wait---and freezing outside. I made the executive decision to do something else. I just didn't think the kids could handle that long of a wait! Next year, we'll just have to go super early!
Our Plan B was still a fun one, however. Thanksgiving Point was on the way, so we swung by to visit the reindeer and see the Christmas Lights.
The reindeer were cute--it would have been fun to pet them but they were stubbornly sitting in the very center of the circle, so we just couldn't reach. I'm sure they were tired of being touched anyway...I get like that too sometimes :)
You have to keep your eyes on Kennedy--after playing with Charlotte for a minute, I looked over to see her trying to climb over the fence! She almost made it too...other parents were probably talking bad about our lack of attention towards her...oh well!
Oh Charlotte! So sorry you are wearing boy winter clothes....new pink ones just couldn't be justified!
And there was this beautiful snowflake ice sculpture! I would love to learn how to do that...just don't know if I trust myself with a chainsaw. Maybe a chisel and hammer would be better..
I just love real Christmas trees! These ones smelled delicious too! Jeremy's parents were able to come with us, they're always a party!
