Scout Finch

I am finally making myself write this post!  Last spring we had to put our little (okay...maybe not so little...) cat down.  He had a lot of health problems that we weren't able to help him with.  It was seriously one of the saddest days of my life.  He was the pretties, snuggliest, softest and funniest cat.  He was also a pain in the neck--but I still loved him.  The kids still talk about him all the time.  I'm just sad that our little Charlotte won't remember him!  We'll probably get another pet someday...but I'm not quite ready yet...

He was scared of the kids and would always try to sneak up on them to get a good sniff when he thought they weren't looking!

For Bridger's first birthday, we had a cowboy party--and Scout was wanted with a large reward :)

What is it with cats and baskets?  He would crawl into the tiniest places to take a nap!

yes, he proceded to climb into this empty drawer and take a nap :)

Oh, Scout also loved to lay on top of important things you were working on...when you tried to get the stuff out from under him he would bite you!

Charlotte pretending to be a kitty

here he is watching us shoot off fireworks from outside!

Can you see him int he picture above?  In the basket wrapped in a towel?  That's where he laid while we were moving.  It was his happy place--he stayed there for 2 days!

See what I mean about sneaking up on the kids???? Ha!

We love you Scouter and miss you!!!
