It's always something.....

So, thanks to Lindsay V., my kids have been having a wonderful time playing in the snow...in the kitchen sink. Bridger insisted on wearing his mittens, but then proceeded to plow, crash and bury his monster trucks to his hearts content.

Kennedy loved just being invited--she wouldn't really touch the snow, but found great enjoyment in listening to Bridger's very loud and enthusiastic sound effects... :)

She would, however, touch the cow's nose and say "mooooo" every once in a while...

They were having so much fun (played for about an hour...) that I decided to go downstairs for a minute--or two. Then, I heard Bridger: "Moooooooom! MOM! Moooooooom!" "Kennedy, you little monkey baby!"
What in the world? Well, this is what I found.

Kennedy had climbed onto a chair, onto the table, gotten a cup of hot chocolate (that I regrettable did not put away before I left) and attempted to drink it all. She is so cunning, that I am sure she waited for the precise moment to do it too--the little stinker.

Yes, doesn't she look proud and happy? She got those shoes for Christmas--they are squeaker shoes. And to her, they make the very best squeaks when they are splashing in hot chocolate. You should have heard her squeak.....

She loves to shake her head 'no' at me--this is her mid-shake--after I said: "What did you do!"

Well, I guess it wasn't really so bad--the floor was easy enough, but I did have to scrub her clothes a little. Lesson learned: never leave anything within reach. Is that possible?

Yay! I'm so glad they liked it! (Well, Bridger anyway.) It's just such a different way to play with snow.

Your kids are soo cute! I forgot to tell you that Kennedy was kind of scared of our little Fur Real cat. I think maybe she thought it was real but then it was a little too robotic and she started crying! So sad! I had to hurry and hide it!

Oh, and I want some of those squeaker shoes!

Kennedy and Faith are soooo much alike! Faith did this exact same thing but with a smoothie that I had left on the table! You were better than me though, shoulda taken a picture. =) Sneaky little girls aren't they, I guess they will get in all kind of mischief together!

What great pictures. You captured the moments in their faces. I felt like I was there, and could hear their conversations and see the expressions on their faces.

Kennedy is so cute. I love how she waited for the moment you leave to get the cup . That is exactly what Connor does. Sneaky . It is a great idea with the snow I think we will try it .
