Last night I asked Bridger to go down to the basement and bring up Kennedy's blanket for me.
He says: "Mom, I don't like going down there by myself. I just noticed that the fireplace has eyes. Sometimes it looks at me and I don't like that."
Great, Bridger--now I'm scared of the fireplace!
Getting ready in the morning, Bridger comes in and says "Wow, mom, you look great!" I love that kid!
Talking to Paul (our neighbor) outside this afternoon:
Paul: "Nice Scooter, Bridger. Did you get that for Christmas?"
Bridger: "No, I got it for going poop."
Okay, he got it for being completely potty trained, but does he really have to tell everyone???
And, if ever he senses that I have a need or want he says; "Dad, we need to go take mom to get some new _______ and she needs more ______. Let's go do that Dad, Mom would be so proud!"
Yes, that last one is my favorite! Really, we never have gotten what Bridger thinks I need (currently snowboots), but I love that he is looking out for me :)

Bridger is the best, I love that kid!
gotta LOVE what they say!! what a cutie!
What a sweet little boy, let's hope he keeps it up over the years!
I'm so glad you finally did this!! I want to see this as a recurring post, like once a week because seriously that kid is HILARIOUS. The poop comment is my favorite. If you ever get sick of him, you know where to send him. :)
I can totally picture Paul's face... priceless!
That little Bridger!! What a crack-up! I hope that when Finn grows up he shares that same kind of concern for me! :)
Boys are so sweet and caring aren't they? I love 'em! Bridger is so funny too. I'll have to look in your fireplace next time and see if I can see the eyes.
That kid is hilarious...he says the funniest things! I love the poop and scooter story...and how cute that he is watching out for mommy!! =)
Bridger is so cute! I am very glad he knows how to take care of his mom!!!!
He is so funny! I wish you were in Co-Op still so I could see him more often. You should bring him to play anyways. Mckay would love it!
Wow - that is seriously so darling! What a sweet, sensitive boy to care so much about his mommy. I love it!
What would the world do without Bridger in it? Very boring! He is so cute.
The poop scooter is so funny! What a funny kid. I like that he is so thoughtful of his mom.
