Bears and Tomato's

Last weekend, while Jeremy was out doing this:
And this:
and seeing beautiful things like this while hiking to the top of King's Peak--apparently the tallest peak in Utah.
Enjoying beautiful waterfalls,
mountain views,
sunsets and bears (yes, bears.  well, one bear.  They shared a patch of trees for a minute or two.  I think they were both trying to sneak up on each other.  Jeremy trying to get a picture and the bear trying to avoid the paparazzi.  Needless to say somebody got a lecture when they got home...)
We were enjoying our local Farmer's Market.  Have I told you lately how much I am in love with the Farmer's Market?
We got yummy cherries, peaches tomatoes, honey, a loaf of artisan bread and a few honey sticks (a new favorite for us).
Everything was so delicious and beautiful!  It's a small market, but still lots of fun.  I let the kids pick one thing they wanted.
Bridger of course picked tomato's--his favorite.  He finished three off as soon as he could get his hands on them.  Kennedy ate one too!  And what did Kennedy want?  Yes, the honey.  That was her choice.  Made by Utah bees.  Oh, and it had to be in a bear bottle.  My kids call honey "baby bear".  Charlotte told me that she wanted the cherry's.  I told her I would eat lots for her :)
Another thing I love about our Farmer's Market is how central they are to a few of the places I love most in my city.  Roberts--where everything (well, lots of things..) was 75% off, Material Girls--where their fat quarters were on sale for a dollar that day, Cafe Rio--where I can feed myself and the kids for $5 and the new and fabulous frozen yogurt shop.  Where it's only .39/oz. and the kids got a free t-shirt to color, balloon animals, stickers, and fake tattoo's.
It was a great fun day!  We missed having our dad around--he was off getting blisters and filtering his own water.  No, don't feel bad for him.  He likes that kind of thing :)  He was so excited to use his new backpacking stove--even tested it out the night before.  Did I mention that he tested out his filter too?  Yes, he filtered our tap water and then made me drink it...
But by the end of day, this is how we ALL were.  It was a great day :)

I wonder if bears like tomatoes....I wouldn't lecture Jeremy on the bear episode, seeing as much as he tests everything, I know he was prepared for anything!!! Even bears..... Looks like a lot of fun, the farmer's market I mean. Missed a picture of you and Charlotte. Pretty soon she may be asking for more than just cherries. ha ha ha!

Fun days! Love that you documented it! And those are some sweet pics Jeremy took. I bet Adam would forget to take any- he's not that into picture taking...

P.S. We are getting one of those frozen yogurt places by us- sooooooo excited about it!
