Such a Blessing

Our little Charlotte Leigh was blessed on Sunday, July 4th.  It was such a great day--with lots of family and friends!

Isn't her dress amazing????  My mom made it (lucky me!) it's made with vintage lace and shark's teeth down the middle.  She's still wearing it to church.  I figure with all the work that went into that, she might as well get all the use she can out if it!

And thankfully my parents were able to be here (and Sean...) from Florida.  The kids (and us of course!) had so much fun while they were here!

We had a fun 4th of July BBQ after church, grilled hot dogs, corn on the cob and lots of fruit and salads.  It was really yummy!

I just love fresh flowers!  We had these on the tables in the yard, it was such a beautiful summer day!

Here is Jeremy at his post.  He did a great job with the blessing.  I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband!

Here is Charlotte with her great grandma and grandpa Beckstead.  I just love these pictures!

And Jeremy with his sister, Emilee.  They are so funny together--Jeremy just loves to tease her :)  His other sister, Jen, wasn't able to make it--we really missed her!

Isn't Madison adorable (Emilee's daughter)!  She is such a great helper with all of my kids.  She's only 8, but I'm already going to reserve her for babysitter in the future.  She is awesome! :)

And here is Hudson--my nephew.  Charlotte had her hands in little fists, and he kept thinking she wanted him to give her "rocks"--so that's exactly what he did.  So cute!

And my brother Sean, the kids LOVE him!  But if you had a teenage uncle, full of energy (and I do mean full....) you would know what I'm talking about :)

I love this baby!!!  She is such a blessing to our lives.  Isn't it incredible how your love for something (or someone...) grows so much over time!  I loved her when she was first born, but I love her even more now!

Oh yeah, this is something else Sean is really good at ;)

This is my sister, Rebecca--due with her first baby any day!  She actually had her 3 days later and named her Maisie Louise.  We finally have a Horst cousin!!!

Playing a game of candy land with Grandpa...

And here are Jeremy's parents--Alan and Shauna.  They are wonderful to us!  We are so lucky to be surrounded with wonderful friends and family!

Those not pictures but also in attendance (this is just for my records...so I don't forget!):

My brother Jordan and his wife Kimalee
My aunt and Uncle Kelly and Scott
Jer's aunt and uncle Karen and Craig
Jer's cousin Rheanna and Luke
my sister Vanessa
Rebecca's husband, Dave
and our great friends, the Wilkinsons (why didn't I get a picture of you guys?!?)
