I loved this conference weekend we just had! Seems like I get more out of it every year. On Saturday, we went for a drive through the mountains--up Provo Canyon while listening to the morning session...we thought this might be the most productive listening time for all involved.... On our way home, we stopped at Krispy Kreme and got a donut. We told Bridger we were going to the donut store, but I don't think he quite believed us until we got there. Of course he got one with sprinkles and devoured it in under 30 seconds. Then he proceeded to pick up and eat every sprinkle that dropped onto his car seat. Poor Kennedy, she missed out...
My favorite talks this Conference were (from Sat afternoon)--the talk on bearing your testimony often (was it Elder Oaks? I can't remember, but I'll post the link when its available.) I loved it. I have a strong testimony of this gospel and I know of its truth--I definetly need to bear my testimony in public more often. I don't because I usually get emotional and then can't talk (you know...the high pitched, trying not to cry voice...), but this is something that I really need to work on.
I also loved the talk on motherhood this afternoon (as I'm sure all of us did) by Elder Ballard (?)--how wonderful and uplifting it was. Motherhood is such a rewarding and demanding role, but so important. The world doesn't put enough importance on it, but Heavenly Father does. Children are so precious and I am going to work harder at living in the moment and not in the "future". I am so thankful for President Monson, our new prophet. I am thankful for my Savior, for daily prayer and scripture study and for my eternal family. How blessed I am.

Can't agree more with you. Those were my favorite talks too!
I loved the talk about motherhood too. It felt nice to have a talk directed specifically to us and I felt like Elder Ballard really understood what it's like.
Thanks for sharing your comments about it! I too need to live in the moment more!
