Day Two

I love this blogging thing! This is a great way for Jer and I to update each other (with pictures) about all that we're doing while separated. Bridger looks so cute with his fishing rod!

This morning we went to the Farmers Market--which is always fun. They have so many good (and interesting) things there to eat and buy.

This is my Great Great Aunt Margaret's home--she has had a checkerboard lawn ever since I canremember (and even much longer than that!)

Here are Kennedy and I enjoying some perogies--I haven't had these in forever and they are so good! If you haven't had them, they're kind of like a dumpling filled with potatoes, onions, and cheese and then pan fried--really, really good...

My mom had an African samosa--and I should call her Rapunzel because she is always eating radishes... (but what she really wants us to call her is "Red Rose") Seriously though, those carrotts and radishes are quite
lovely.

We did some shopping afterwards and then headed over to Peake's Quay--an area where they have some cute shops and really good ice cream by the boat docks. Kennedy stayed home and slept with Grammy. Poor Sean, he fell into the water and mom made a weak attempt at pulling him to safety. Doesn't she have a great look of concern on her face? :) Don't worry, Sean made it home safe and sound (an ice cream cone, chocolate bar, skittles, 6 cookies and two donuts later)...

And that picture above is of Kennedy sitting in a little chair made for a porcelain doll--she's kinda chunky, but I think she fits the part!

These are some "Anne" statues that grammy made--she is a sculptor (and painter and many other things) and makes these dolls out of Prince Edward Island Clay. She is very talented.
